Our comfortable Andalusian-style 7-bedroom boutique hotel is tucked away in one of the quieter narrow cobbled streets that typify Marbella’s historic Old Town and is ideally positioned for exploring the many attractions that Marbella has to offer.
Step into the magical world of Marbella´s Old Town, where a typical Andalusian village ambience still pervades in its maze of colourful streets and shady squares, peppered with an array of restaurants, tapas bars and handicraft shops.
We named our family-run hotel “La Morada Mas Hermosa” (the most beautiful home) to reflect our belief that a hotel should provide a truly nurturing and relaxing “home-from-home” experience to its guests rather than just a bed for the night.
As such we have taken a great deal of thought and care to create a comfortable retreat for our guests in each of our individually-decorated rooms…
Savour the ambience of a typical Andalusian neighbourhood in the midst of Marbella’s Old Town over a leisurely breakfast; share a bottle of wine on the balcony with your loved one on a balmy moonlit Marbella night…
Every room in La Morada Mas Hermosa has been individually decorated, with painstaking thought and care given to the smallest detail, to ensure you enjoy a truly comfortable and relaxing stay in Marbella.
Our rooms are non-smoking and spotlessly clean. All are equipped with A/C hot & cold, ceiling fan, telephone, 20” flat screen TV with satellite channels, free WiFi access and a safe. Our bed linen and towels are 100% pure cotton and all bathrooms are stocked with a complimentary supply of organic toiletries.
As there is no lift, only Room 3 is suitable for people with difficulty climbing stairs.
La Morada Mas Hermosa is an extension of our own home and we have lovingly decorated it as such.
Restored rustic Andalusian furniture, paintings by a family artist, small treasures that have caught our eye… all our rooms have an understated yet homely simplicity, designed to make the most of the Mediterranean light and shade, with an emphasis on quality, comfort and respect for the environment.
In 1798 La Morada Mas Hermosa was built by a shipping merchant, in what is still referred to as Marbella’s “Barrio Alto” (upper neighbourhood) - the tower of which (converted into room 5 ) provided him with strategic views over the bay. It continued to serve as a home in Marbella for various local families over the centuries until 2000, when we fell in love with the house as a family and decided to convert it into the “home-from-home” boutique hotel we had always dreamed of running. After undergoing extensive renovations, while respecting the original architectural structure and surrounding Old Town setting, La Morada Mas Hermosa opened its doors as a boutique hotel in 2003, where every visitor is considered a welcome guest in our extended family home.
